Inner Spiritual Power
Inner Spiritual Power is misunderstood by most people. Even spiritual practitioners seem to misuse this power as well. Anyone familiar with the field of metaphysics knows about these natural laws yet we, myself included cannot seem to stay 100% in tune with the universe for extended periods of time. Why is this? That's a question I hope to discover. Maybe it's the Ego, that somehow takes control when we are not looking. One thing I do know, we create our own demons. If you are not feeling totally connected and spiritual 24 hrs. a day do not worry, just keep moving forward, learn and grow even if it is just a little every day. I think part of being human and specially in this time of our existence there is so much input in our daily life's thru media, which seems to get more negative by the day, or our cell phones that seem to take up so much of our time we do not make enough time for ourselves. I have been on this spiritual path for over 30 years and everyday I have new awareness's of just how powerful we really are.
My belief, and this is from many years of study is that religion, yes I know that religion seems to get blamed for everything, along with the way we were raised and the peer groups that we may have been influenced by seem to get in the way of our spiritual growth. This has been going on for generations and race mind thinking may be to blame, because this way of thinking has become imbedded in the race mind of our society.
It has become so strong that the belief in our abilities thru the wonderful gifts available to us by the universe just do not seem possible.
Yes the Universal Laws of the universe are real and are being used by us every minute whether we are consciously aware or not. Our Inner Spiritual Power is a gift and must be used for us to continue our spiritual journey.
Margaret Stolz stated that:
" Inner power not recognized is almost always subject to misuse."
This is what the average person misunderstands, we are always using the law. If we do not accept the fact that we are in control of our own existence than we fail to achieve all the rewards and gifts this law has to offer.
Inner Spiritual Power
Ernest Holmes the founder of Science of Mind says this when talking about these laws:" Science is knowledge of facts built around some proven principle. All that we know about any science is that certain things happen under certain conditions. Take electricity as an example; we know that there is such a thing as electricity; we have never seen it, but we know that it exists because we can use it; we know that it operates in a certain way and we have discovered the way it works. From this knowledge we go ahead and deduce certain facts about electricity; and, applying them to the general principle, we receive definite results. No one has ever seen the power or the energy that we call electricity; and the only proof we have that it really exists is that from it we receive light, heat and motive power.
No one has ever seen any of the great causes that lie back of the manifestations of life, and perhaps no one ever will; but we know that such principles exist because we can use them."
Ralph Waldo Emerson says this:
" what lies behind you and what lies in front of you pales in comparison to what lies inside you."
Learning how to manifest our intentions is key to using these wonderful gifts the universe has provided. It has to be a deep feeling that you are one with the infinite. Learning to overcome the past race mind thinking is absolutely key to our spiritual health.
I can help you with the information needed to change. I can provide links to great teachers thru out history. What I can not provide is the motivation for you to study, research these great teachers and try to implement some of these teaching into your daily life. I know what it is like to get complacent. To be so busy running a business or taking care of children that everything else becomes secondary. Taking care of ourselves must come first. The we will be able to create the time needed for everything else. Without you and I being all that we can be, we will not have enough to spread around to others.
"When Henley wrote the prophetic lines, "I am the Master of my Fate, I am the Captain of my Soul," he should have informed us that we are the Masters of our Fate, the Captains of our Souls, because we have the power to control our thoughts.
He should have told us that the ether in which this little earth floats, in which we move and have our being, is a form of energy moving at an inconceivably high rate of vibration, and that the ether is filled with a form of universal power which ADAPTS itself to the nature of the thoughts we hold in our minds; and INFLUENCES us, in natural ways, to transmute our thoughts into their physical equivalent.
If the poet had told us of this great truth, we would know WHY IT IS that we are the Masters of our Fate, the Captains of our Souls. He should have told us, with great emphasis, that this power makes no attempt to discriminate between destructive thoughts and constructive thoughts, that it will urge us to translate into physical reality thoughts of poverty, just as quickly as it will influence us to act upon thoughts of riches.
He should have told us, too, that our brains become magnetized with the dominating thoughts which we hold in our minds, and, by means with which no man is familiar, these "magnets" attract to us the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with the nature of our dominating thoughts.
He should have told us, that before we can accumulate riches in great abundance, we must magnetize our minds with intense DESIRE for riches, that we must become "money conscious" until the DESIRE for money drives us to create definite plans for acquiring it.
But, being a poet, and not a philosopher, Henley contented himself by stating a great truth in poetic form, leaving those who followed him to interpret the philosophical meaning of his lines. Little by little, the truth has unfolded itself, until it now appears certain that the principles described in this book, hold the secret of mastery over our economic fate.
We are now ready to examine the first of these principles. Maintain a spirit of open-mindedness, and remember as you read, they are the invention of no one man. The principles were gathered from the life experiences of more than 500 men who actually accumulated riches in huge amounts; men who began in poverty, with but little education, without influence. The principles worked for these men. You can put them to work for your own enduring benefit. You will find it easy, not hard, to do."
